How to Embed a Video

Step 1: Find Your Video

The first step is to find the video you would like to embed on your webpage, and once you find it we can begin the process of actually putting it on a webpage.

Step 2: Find the "Share" Button

Now that we have a video in mind, look below the video towards the bottom right corner, and just above the "Subscribe" button there is a button that says "Share." This is how we are going to embed the video, so go ahead and click on it.

Step 3: Find the "Embed" Button

Once you've clicked on "Share" this menu will appear, which allows you to share the video on social media, with a link, or to embed it, which is what we are going to do. From here, simply click the "Embed" button.

Step 4: Tweak the Settings

Now this menu should show up next to the video. Here, you can change the code to yout liking, but for now we can leave it untouched.

Step 5: Find the "Copy" Button

In the bottom right corner of the menu is the "Copy" button. Go ahead and click it, and now the code had been coppied to your clipboard, ready to be pasted into your code.

Step 6: Implement the Code

Now that the code is copied, you can go into your text/code editor and paste it right into the spot where you want the video to display. Now that the code is present, the video should now appear on your webpage. Viola, now you know how to embed a video onto a webpage!
